Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about ordering, shipping and returns.
What is the difference between a heat pump tumble dryer and a condenser dryer?
Heat Pump Tumble Dryers reuse warm air throughout the drying cycle rather than expelling it, which typically draws less electricity per cycle than a standard condenser model. If you run the dryer frequently, that difference adds up. The collection covers a range of drum capacities to suit different household sizes.
Where do Compressor Dehumidifiers work best?
Compressor Dehumidifiers perform well in rooms that stay reasonably warm — living rooms, kitchens, utility spaces and bedrooms are good fits. They are less effective in unheated garages or outbuildings. Match the tank capacity to the size of the room for best results.
How do I choose between the Compressor Dehumidifiers and Dehumidifiers collections?
The Compressor Dehumidifiers collection contains refrigerant-based models suited to warm, lived-in rooms. The Dehumidifiers collection covers the broader range available in the shop and may suit different room conditions or sizes. If you are unsure which type fits your space, email info@posterituk.com or call +44 7800596811.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Contact us as soon as possible at info@posterituk.com or on +44 7800596811 (Mon–Sat, 9 AM–6 PM) and we will do what we can before dispatch.

Is shopping secure and my data protected?
Yes. Your entire connection is SSL-encrypted and payments are processed through certified, PCI-compliant providers. We only share your personal data where your order requires it (for example with payment providers and carriers) and handle it strictly in line with applicable data-protection law.

What if my product arrives damaged or defective?
If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us straight away — ideally with photos and your order number. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund. You’ll find the details in our returns policy.
How can I exchange an item?
An exchange works as a return: send the item back within the return window and place a new order for the one you want. We’re happy to help — just contact us. You’ll find the details in our returns policy.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we refund the amount to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, it can take a few additional business days to appear on your account.
Is there a warranty on the products?
Yes — where applicable, products are covered by the manufacturer warranty, and your statutory consumer rights apply in full. These are unaffected by our voluntary return policy.
Do you have a physical store?
No — we are an online-only store and do not operate a walk-in shop. All orders are placed through this website; if you have any questions, reach us by email and phone.
